EXHIBITIONS

Clifford Hall's Exhibition Records are still being researched and therefore the lists presented on this page may not be entirely complete. Further entries can be expected, especially to the Group Exhibitions Lists.

Differentiating the Solo shows from the Joint shows is sometimes problematic. Some of the galleries concerned held two exhibitions at the same time and produce one catalogue for both. Where it is known that the artist's work were shown separately in different rooms, or indeed, as in the case of Roland Browse and Delbanco, on different floors, the shows are listed as Solo Exhibitions; where it is known that the artists were friends and their works were hung and presented together, these are listed as Joint Exhibitions. Where it is not known how the work was presented and there is no known strong association between the artists concerned, these are listed as Joint Exhibitions with an asterisk to indicate they could possibly be considered Solo Exhibitions.

NB Only temporary exhibitions are listed on this page. Details of Clifford Hall works in permanent public collections will be given on another page.
