I am Clifford Hall's second son and the current administrator of his artistic estate. All relevant enquiries regarding copyright, provenance, authentication of works and any other business matters related to Clifford Hall and this website can be directed to me, initially, by using the contact page.

I decided to make two versions of this website, one primarily for PC users and the other for mobile phone users, because while I have the necessary IT skills to make a website, I do not have sufficient technical knowledge to make a responsive design website (at least not one of this size) which rearranges itself to fit all screen sizes without resorting to the use of template based website building software, like wordpress or weebly etc. The problem with template based software is that it inevitably has a significant influence on the appearance and design of your website, no matter how customizable the software creators have designed their templates to be. At least, this is what I have found to be the case. While I believe that most of the people who will wish to view this website will do so on their computers, I do appreciate that not everyone has easy access to a computer and that some of these people will also wish to view the site, and naturally I want to be able to cater to these Internet users too.

To begin with the main (non-responsive design) website will be my primary focus and development of the mobile version will inevitably lag behind, at least for awhile. Obviously, the mobile version, being built on a responsive design template, will be suitable for viewing on computers screens as well as on phones and tablets. However, it is unlikely to ever have the appearance I prefer. I also envisage that there well be some divergence in the textual and pictorial content of the two versions as well as big differences in the layout and design. The mobile version, being essentially a glorified blog, will probably develop as a resource for posting announcements and other news. And also, of course, it is likely to feature some comments from readers.
